OLD versus NEW renderer images

Simple image copies, without fingerprint folders. OLD means the frozen legacy-port; NEW means the corrected CPU renderer. These paired pictures are existing previews, not completed standard/high benchmark results.

The full-size Gold Dragon was rendered with the NEW renderer, using the original scene and sampling settings. Open the 1024 x 768 Gold Dragon. There is not yet a corresponding full-size OLD Gold Dragon.

Accepted CPU comparison: 512x512 images | 1024x1024 images. These folders contain the 55 completed CPU-side images. The remaining CPU cases were stopped at the user's request, not silently substituted.

Completed detailed CUDA GPU run: All 24 GPU images | Authored report | Material report. Four scenes and six material variants, each at 1024x1024 with 64 camera samples and four glossy samples.

Open the retained 512/1024 before/after report. Preview sources and exact settings. Full-size image sources.

The small paired Gold Dragon preview uses reduced sampling and a large finite floor slab. The full-size new render uses the original infinite floor.
